What’s Happening in the Middle East?

August 17-18

Long-time ministry partner Tass, Abu Saada returns as our guest speaker. He knows personally the power of Jesus Christ to transform a person’s heart. Abu Saada was a terrorist sniper for Yassir Arafat’s Palestinian Liberation Organization, but starting with a powerful, supernatural encounter with Jesus. Tass is committed to helping the Church build relationships with—and ultimately minister to—our Muslim neighbors, friends, and coworkers in ways that promote peace and understanding.

Baptism Weekend

Goodbye, Boz

September 1

Once the notorious bad boy of college and pro football, Brian “The Boz” Bosworth found the spotlight in the late 80s due to his outstanding on-field performance and his outrageousness off-field antics. Beneath the flamboyance, however, was a hurting and lonely man who desperately longed for freedom and peace.

Kari Jobe Concert

August 15

Enjoy an evening of music and worship with Dove Award winner and singer of "Forever," "We Are," and "Revelation Song."

When Kari Jobe began leading worship at age 13, she never imagined she would be where she is today. She only knew she had a heart for broken people and a deep desire to lead them to the cross.

But today, Kari has become a trusted friend to her listeners through a career that includes more than 1 million albums sold, a GRAMMY® nomination, multiple Dove Awards and praise from the New York Times.

Beyond the stats, Kari’s timeless songs have carried countless listeners to the feet of Christ over and over again. Her voice has become a soundtrack to people’s lives, and her latest release, The Garden, is well-equipped to continue leading people into God’s presence and bring healing and hope in the midst of pain.

Changes to Four Steps

Due to the great turnout of our online Four Steps classes, we are now encouraging those who are interested in becoming members to take Four Steps online. All the Four Steps classes will still be offered on our Peoria campuses on a semester basis, so continue to look at our event calendar for more information on when those will be offered.
