Part time
The Connections Cafe Associate provides assistance to the Food Service Ministry and the Connections Café. The Food Service Ministry’s goal is to provide a convenient cost effective food service for all Northwoods events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Restock supplies in the kitchen and café
- Restock all drinks and snacks
- Cleaning kitchen, café, refrigerators, and anything else assigned
- Serving customers in the café
- Laundry for kitchen and café
- Any other duties assigned by manager
Interaction with Others
The Connections Café Associate will interact with ministry leaders, volunteers, church attendees, inventory suppliers, and the Business Office staff on a regular basis.
Desired Skill and Abilities
Interpersonal and organization skills, self-motivated and goal setting ability. Food safe certificate is helpful.

Part time
The Re:New Thrift Store Associate will help to open and manage the Re:New thrift store in Galesburg.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Working on the floor

- Customer Services: Assist at the cash register during check out and assisting customers.
- Hours: Open and close the store on assigned days and be available to work 1-2 Saturdays a month
- Promotion: Responsible for creative ideas for arrangement and promotion of the store.
- Pricing: Assist with pricing donations and display of donations.
- Safety: Promote customer safety by following safety guidelines.

Part Time
The Life Help Ministries Administrative Assistant is to provide support to each ministry in the department.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Scheduling: Handle scheduling and related correspondence for various ministry appointments for the ministry teams and their recipients.
- Administrative
- Phone: Handle incoming phone calls for weddings, funerals, benevolence, prayer, recovery, Equip, and Freedom ministry.
- Communication: Communicate events for each Life Help Ministries Director. i.e.: event requests, registration, website information, Enews information, facility usage, and prepare announcements.
- Proofread: Proof documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Filing: Maintain filling cabinet contents in Life Help Ministries Administrative office. Manage the contents in storage area.
- Supplies: Keep supplies and forms updated as needed. Stock supplies needed by all Life Help Ministries Staff.
- Meetings
- Staff Meetings: Attend staff meetings for global, visionary, and organizational matters as schedule allows.
- Life Help Ministries: Team Meetings as needed for coordination and communication for group initiatives.
- Administrative: Any administrative specific meetings or training.
- Ministry Coordination Assist in coordination of groups, events, classes, and seminars. (i.e.: event requests, registration, website information, ENews information.)
- Pastor On Call: Call the hospitals for daily updates, update patient information when received, and forward to POC and related distribution lists, who may have a connection to that person through volunteer ministries. Update POC rotation and track changes as needed.
- Availability: Available Tuesday-Friday, with an occasional night or weekend to support various ministry initiatives.
- Other Responsibilities: Special projects assigned by the Life Help Pastor and other Life Help Directors as time allows.
- Benevolence: Receive incoming calls, send out Benevolence Assessment Forms, and make copies of returned forms to give to the Benevolence Team for review. Manage all logistical details for benevolence. (i.e.: inquiries, communications, food vouchers, gas vouchers, check requests.)
- Weddings: Receive incoming calls, send out wedding packets, track incoming packets, and finalize paperwork/contracts that need to be signed by the pastor doing the wedding. Prepare and keep wedding packets available at all times. Fill out event request forms and let staff know via email of the event date and time.
- Volunteers: Develop relationships with volunteers; assist with requests; and problem solve, etc.
Funerals:
- Services: Administrate the logistical details and coordinate with the Officiating Pastor and Pastoral Care Director. (i.e.: receive incoming calls; communicate information, fill out event request forms, and let staff know via email of the event date and time.)
- Luncheons: Administrate the logistical details and coordinate with Luncheon Facilitator and Pastoral Care Director. (i.e.: receive incoming calls, communicate information, fill out event request forms, and let staff know via email of the event date and time.)
- Director Support
- Support: Work closely with the Directors in the Life Help ministries to ensure adequate coordination and communication of tasks as needed.
- Director Meetings: Support Leadership Meetings: Meet with Directors regularly as needed for coordination, communication, and training.
Interaction With Others
The Life Help Ministries Administrative Assistant will work closely with each director within the department, as well as with other departments such as Facilities and Communications as related to coordination of activities.
Desired Skills and Abilities
Good administration and organizational skills, a compassionate heart, and appropriate telephone etiquette. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Effective time management, organizational, leadership, proofreading, and multi-tasking skills. Must be confidential, flexible, accurate, and have good follow-up skills. Basic aptitude for database and other portal applications as well as receiving tech training for event support.

Part Time
The Global Media Producer advances the ministries of Northwoods Church through visual elements that attract people who are far from God, that introduce them to Jesus and Christian principles, and that help them mature in Christ as they continue on their spiritual journey. The Global Media Producer provides creative, visually excellent media content and tech support for weekend services, Northwoods ministries, and special events. This position is a part of the Northwoods Media team and will help with the setup and execution all forms of media production for weekend services, Northwoods ministries, and events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Administration
- Scheduling: Schedule for live video shoots to maintain workflow.
- Staff Meeting: Attend staff meetings for global, visionary, and organizational maters.
- Tech: Provide tech support, when needed, for the weekend services, Northwoods ministries, and special events
- Creative Arts Team
- Creativity: Work side-by-side with the Media Director/Media Team in developing excellence and creativity in this ministry.
- Brainstorming: Meet when needed and work alongside the Media Director/Media Team for planning of creative projects, video shoots, and creative production.
- Current Trends: Be listening for new music, ideas, and creative means of communicating our message with an emphasis on the new technology available.
- Production
- Media Production: The Global Media Producer may be asked to take part in creative planning and execution of video and other creative projects. This includes brainstorming, creative planning, setup and execution of video shoots, and post-production.
- Services: Provide media support during all services and special events in the auditorium and other venues as needed. Media support includes video directing, graphics presentation, video playback, video switching, camera directing, and ensuring CCLI compliance.
- Innovation: Continuously explore fresh and creative ways to deliver media content. Ensure that frequently recurring projects (video testimonies, pre-service announcement videos, sermon bumpers, etc.) do not become “stale”.
- Training: Cross train with other media positions.
Interaction With Others
The Global Media Producer will work closely with the Media Director and Media Team, as well as the other members of the Creative Arts staff. He/she will also work closely with volunteers in the Creative Arts area at all campuses. He/she may also be asked to schedule and interface with talent and other people who may be central to video production (i.e testimony video shoots, story capture, etc.)
Desired Skills and Abilities
This must be a creative person with leadership abilities. Organizational and time management skills are essential. An understanding of the Seeker Event philosophy is necessary. Must be an effective communicator willing to work with others to develop cohesive teams. The Global Media Producer should have experience in ProPresenter. Knowledge of Adobe Creative suite applications like Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop are needed. Training can/will be provided but pre-experience in video production is encouraged. The Global Media Producer should have a desire to learn new things, and a willingness and eagerness to try and even fail, and a passion to keep learning and growing.
