Galesburg Thrift Store
We believe in giving back to make a difference in people’s lives! Located in Galesburg, Re:New sells gently used clothing and home goods to the public at extremely affordable prices. Re:New is more than a thrift store. It's a benevolence and community assistance center that exists to help those in need. Proceeds are used to support local agencies who provide for needs like assistance with food, fuel, utilities, and other necessities. Upon request, Re:New may also be able to provide assistance for those needing clothing, household goods, etc.
Making Donations
At Re:New
Donations are accepted during business hours:
Monday–Friday: 9:30am–6pm
Saturday: 9am–5pm
Bring donations to the garage door on the east side of the building, facing Walgreens. Ring the bell, and we will be right there!
On the Peoria Campus
You can also drop off donations at the Peoria Campus. Leave your donations by a Re:New sign in the lobby, in the Re:New trailer by the maintenance building, or ask a Dream Team member for assistance. If you would like a receipt, you can get one at the information desk.
Financial Donations
Financial donations can be made in-store, or call us to make other arrangements. All donations are tax-deductible.
Donation Guidelines
Donated items must be clean, in working condition, contain all of their pieces and parts, and be free of stains and rips. While we accept most clothing and household items, there are a few things we cannot accept – such as items that have been recalled, banned or do not meet current safety standards. We also cannot accept aerosols, batteries, car parts or tires, guns, firearms, or weapons, chemicals, cleaners, pesticides or hazardous materials of any kind.

Re:New is located on Fremont Street behind Walgreens and Pizza Hut in the Northwoods Community Church building.
